A1 GT Pedals

The original A1 GT Pedals are a good solid pedal set for beginners and experienced racers. The clutch and brake have 15 degrees of travel and the throttle has 20 degrees. Pedal resistance can be adjusted by changing the tension springs. The brake pedal has a second stage spring which provides added feedback to the driver. Constructed in mild steel and powder coated in various colours, they are rock solid. There are 3 pedal finishes also available. They are black powder coat, rumbled stainless steel and, Sparco pedal pads. The A1 GT Pedals can be used with either the 8 bit controller or the 12 bit controller.

A1 GT Wheel

The A1 GT Wheel is built using mild steel, bearings and gears. The wheel itself is suede and comes in black, black and blue, and black and red. At your fingertips are 2 gearchange paddles and 6 buttons which can be canfigured to suit any driving simulation. The wheel rotation can be adjusted manually from 180 degrees to 500 degrees depending on your individual driving style or perhaps the sim you are driving. The cover is a sturdy fibreglass and can be painted in a range of colours. It can be desk mounted using a solid clamp or attached directly to a cockpit via threaded lugs on the underside of the base. The wheel and button assembly is also removable to accomodate future wheel styles. The A1 GT Wheel can be used with the 8 bit controller or the 12 bit controller.

A1 USB Controller (8 bit)

The original 8 bit A1 USB Controller was designed to manage the A1 range of products. It is cheap and functional providing connection to the PC for the A1 GT Pedals and the A1 GT Wheel. It will not work with the newer products.

A1 GearBox

The A1 GearBox is both an H pattern and a Sequential gear box simulation. Housed within a powder coated steel chassis, the internals of the A1 GearBox are tough. A spring loaded mechanism provides crisp and direct gear changes and while in H pattern mode, the stick is virtually 'sucked' into gear. When configured as a sequential box there is a tactile feel as the gear selection is made but with just the right amount of resistance to bring the stick back to the centre position. A sturdy desk clamp allows it to be mounted on the left of right and being gently is not required here!! See video here

A1 Pro

The A1 Pro Pedals are for the more discerning driver. These pedals can hang in a frame or be cockpit / floor mounted. Each pedal is a separate module and travel distance, pedal resistance and left / right position can be controlled. The throttle is 5 degrees below the brake and the brake application is based on pressure, not rotational movement. A large brake pedal pad is provided for maximum performance whether you brake with your right or left foot. Each pedal has a very comfortable bend radius for driver comfort during those long enduros. An artificial floor is provided with the hanging frame for maximum stability when used from a desk. There is provision to bolt the frame directly into a cockpit also. The A1 Pro Pedals can only be used with the 12 bit A1 USB Controller.

A1 USB Controller (12 bit)

The 12 bit A1 USB Controller provides a high degree of accuracy and functionality. This device is the interface between the PC and your driving peripherals. The main board is connected to a connector board providing easy mini din connection of all A1 Racing Gear products. Only one A1 USB Controller is required to control all products and they are seen by the computers' operating system as one device.

The A1 Button Box will be provided shortly to allow drivers to configure additional buttons in a 'dashboard' type configuration to put more sim functions at your fingertips. Stay tuned for updates.
